The Odyssey, written and directed by Christopher Nolan, has been released for a while, and the film is still a hot topic. The story is adapted from Homeric epics: the Odyssey, and takes place after the Trojan War. Since Odyssey (played by Matt Damon) has been absent for many years, the noble family faced by Penelope and her son is intent on seizing the throne. However, Odyssey is currently somewhere in the world, gradually recalling his journey home...

"Zues’s law" in the movie "The Odyssey" refers to the Greek word Xenia. It embodies the sacred principles of hospitality and guest friendship that were central to ancient Greece, protected and upheld by Zeus, the king of the gods in Greek mythology. When rovers or wanderers arrive, the host is required to provide food, drink, shelter, and safety, after which they may inquire about the guest's name and purpose. However, guests should be grateful and not disappoint the hospitality extended to them, they should also look forward to reciprocating kindness in the future, fostering mutual friendship and exchange.

Greeks also deeply believe that the gods sometimes hide their true identities in human form to test human nature. When these rules are broken, the offenders will be punished.

The story takes place after the fall of Troy, with the event that triggered the war rooted in Greek mythology. Queen of the gods Hera, Goddess of Wisdom Athena, and Goddess of Love Aphrodite engage in a beauty contest. Paris, the son of King Priam of Troy, judges Aphrodite to be the most beautiful and receives the golden apple symbolizing "beauty." In return for her gift, Aphrodite bestows upon Paris the beautiful Helen, the sister-in-law of Agamemnon, who led the Greek forces.
